Whakapapa & Atua Association: The origins and spiritual connections of the instruments.
Pūrākau & History: The stories and the impact of the Tohunga Suppression Act.
How to Play: Practical, hands-on guidance.
Mahi Toi: You will also have the chance to create your own taonga to take home

Who is this for?
Whether you are a complete beginner or have prior experience, all are welcome. This is a supportive environment to discover or deepen your connection to these taonga.

What To Bring:

You are welcome to bring your own Taonga Pūoro from home for personal guidance. Instruments will also be provided for those who do not have their own.
