Welcome to Improv 201 - Initiations & Edits

Our 201 LEVEL is divided up into a series of 4 classes focusing on specific skillsets and designed to be taken in any order or revisited ala carte as a refresher.

Ready to elevate your scenes from the very first line and take control of the stage? Students will learn how to launch scenes with high energy, immediate stakes, and clear commitment, eliminating hesitant beginnings. Beyond just starting strong, you’ll expand your theatrical toolkit by moving past the basic sweep edit to master advanced editing techniques—like tag-outs, cut-tos, and organic transitions—that heighten the comedic momentum of your shows. Perfect for players looking to play more confidently, edit more purposefully, and bring a sharper, more collaborative edge to their long-form or short-form sets.

Cancellations: Classes may be canceled if minimum enrollment requirements are not met. Full refunds are only issued if the class is canceled by us.
Refund Policy: No refunds will be issued after the first day of class. Refunds requested prior to the first day are subject to a $25 cancellation fee.
Class Environment: Our goal is to make classes rewarding, safe, and fun for everyone. To maintain a highly focused environment, our classes are generally closed to outside observers. However, for our youth programs, if a student feels more comfortable having their adult present on the first day, you are welcome to stay for the first 20 minutes—just be prepared to participate! If needed for any of our classes, we can also arrange a tour of the building or an opportunity to meet the teacher before the session begins. Just reach out at the time of enrollment. We've been called one of the "8 Great Comedy Schools from Around the Nation" by Paste Magazine. We're dedicated to making you feel welcome.
Behavior & Participation: To keep the room safe and collaborative, we reserve the right to immediately remove any student from the program for a single egregious act, or if their behavior becomes continuously disruptive to the ensemble, with no refunds provided. (For youth classes, parents or caregivers will be contacted to address general behavioral concerns before any removal takes place).

Pricing Philosophy: We believe improv changes lives, and we want our classrooms full to maximize our impact! That is why we offer as many enrollment options as possible. Whether it is through flexible payment arrangements, reduced overall tuition, or finding a creative trade that works for you—WE'VE GOT YOUR BACK. Please choose the registration option that genuinely reflects your current financial situation, no questions asked. Please don't hesitate to reach out if you have questions.
