Join us for a conversation about the benefits, challenges, and lessons learned through the implementation of alternative grading approaches such as specifications grading, standards-based grading, ungrading, etc. This session will feature a panel of faculty who have first-hand experience using an alternative grading system in one or more of their classes. (Panelists: TBA).

No pre-reading required, but if you are interested in a short primer on alternative grading methods, check out this handout: Getting Started with Alternative Grading. We hope you’ll leave this panel with some practical strategies for taking steps towards integrating alternative grading methods into your teaching.

Lunch is included with registration.
