Post 303: NC License Law, Rules & Legal Terms (online T/W/Th schedule)
NOTE: This course will be facilitated live online during the scheduled dates/times using the Zoom platform. Each participant must have access to a computer, webcam, microphone and reliable internet connection in order to successfully complete this course. A link to the virtual classroom and student materials will be emailed to each enrolled student the day before the class begins.
A textbook, NC Real Estate Manual, is required for use during all three post-licensing courses. You may add a copy to your enrollment form and pick it up at our Raleigh or Cary location, or, order a copy through the Real Estate Commission’s website and have it shipped to you. This course will meet online each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, 9:00 - 2:30 for a total of 6 class sessions.
Important Note: If you’ve completed the previous version of Post-303, Selected Topics, you will NOT receive post-licensing credit for this course.

The Post 303 - NC Law, Rules, and Legal Concepts course is one of the three 30-instructional hour courses in the North Carolina mandatory Post-licensing education program. At least one course must be completed annually by North Carolina provisional brokers within three (3) years after initial licensure to
remain eligible for active license status. The primary objective of the course is to provide instruction at a level beyond that provided in pre-licensing courses on topics deemed to be of special importance. Topics addressed in this course include:
- general North Carolina licensing requirements
- brokerage compensation issues
- the disciplinary process
- specialized types of real estate
- property management in NC
- and miscellaneous NC laws and legal concepts.

Please note, strict attendance rules apply. Students may not miss more than 3 instructional hours in order to receive credit for completing the course. Students must be engaged and visible on camera during scheduled class time.
Enrollment cancellations made at least 48-hours prior to the course start date will incur a $75 cancellation fee deducted from the refund. Cancellations after this deadline will receive a credit to apply towards a future course within 6 months.
