Rightway Driving Academy

This full-day course is ideal for riders on a Learner licence or those on a Class 6 Restricted licence riding LAMS-approved machines.

What you’ll get out of it
A sound understanding of road positioning: to better see and be seen, and its importance in cornering. Improved skills in low-speed manoeuvring and braking. Understanding the right speed and gear for any riding situation.

On the day
The day begins with a briefing and safety check then moves onto a mix of urban and rural roads. Some roads will be more challenging with higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break.

Ensure you wear protective motorcycle clothing, top to toe, and have money to buy lunch. Also ensure your machine is warranted, registered and roadworthy and that you arrive with a full tank of fuel.

Please remove any communication device on your helmet as one will be supplied. If you have a comfy pair of in-ear headphones with a standard 3.5mm jack (mobile phone size), then do bring them along.
