The new format for the NRA Basics of Pistol Shooting course. This is the Instructor Led Training format, or ILT where the complete course is conducted under the guidance of your very own NRA Certified Instructor. 

This course is taught by competent, fully certified, experienced instructors who love their work. They all know the importance of starting out right; and they all want to help you build a solid foundation so that you will be able to fully enjoy the shooting sports for a long time.

For this class, you will need the following items:

• Your NY State Pistol Permit
• Eye and ear protection
• A handgun
• 200 rounds of ammunition
• Lunch, snacks, water
• Comfortable clothing and footwear
• Weather appropriate clothing and footwear (this is an outside range)
• A notebook if you wish
