Rochester Personal Defense

The presentation was very informative, covering the topics in an organized, logical, and easy to understand manner. The instructor (Matt) was both professional and personable. He readily answered numerous questions from the class. We were able to try out the three Byrna models during a practice shoot, and he assisted those of us interested in making a purchase. I was very pleased with the class.

The class covered the Byrna Launchers very thoroughly from conception to operation to maintenance. I could not ask for a better instructor. Matt is knowledgeable and very attentive to any questions/comments posed by the students. I was also very pleased with the amount of time spent on “the range”.

Tom did a great job teaching & explaining the techniques to assist us to become better shooters. Safety was always a priority. I learned a great deal of valuable information, while improving my shooting skill and accuracy.

Dave did a great job! He is very informative and willing to share his knowledge with everyone. I highly recommend taking any of his classes. Thank you so much Dave!

For anyone seeking NRA RSO certification, I highly recommend Rochester Personal Defense and David Jenkins. The instruction is professional and delivered with David’s personal touch, the content is practical, and the training is ideal for developing the mindset and skills required of a Range Safety Officer.

Dave was great, he kept the class engaging and interesting. Very educational and worth the time.

A lot of good info to take in…some instructors just read from the manual, Dave added his own experiences. Anytime we learn to be safer at the range is a good thing.

Wendy was an all-around wonderful instructor; calm, assuring, positive and willing to meet individual needs. I enjoyed the class and will be taking others!
