Rochester Personal Defense, LLC

The 8 hour Pre Assignment course is your first step to becoming a NYS Licensed security guard. Once you complete this step, you can apply to the state to obtain your guard license. This session will cover the general overview of the duties and responsibilities of a security guard. Topics covered in this course include the role of the security guard, legal powers and limitations, emergency situations, communications and public relations, access control, and ethics and conduct. There is an exam that you’ll need to pass to complete this course.

Instructions on fingerprinting and filing your application willbe provided to those that complete the course.
