Join the Faculty Hub for an interactive session on Getting Started with Alternative Assessment.

Throughout the session, we will:

• Define three different methods of alternative assessment (Specifications Grading, Contract Grading, Ungrading) ​and look at an example syllabus of each
• Identify benefits and challenges of each approach
• Review UR student perspectives on their experiences taking classes using alternative grading methods
• Discuss with colleagues how one or more of these approaches might be adapted to fit your unique discipline/teaching contexts

Note: Participants may choose to join in-person at the Faculty Hub or remotely via zoom. Coffee, tea, and snacks will be available in the Faculty Hub for those attending in-person.
