What is Tactical Pistol/Carbine 3: Dynamic Shooting?
The class is designed for the experienced shooter and revolves entirely around dynamic shooting and the strategic understanding of threat reduction/mitigation. This specialized course places significant emphasis on demanding accuracy in close-quarters engagement distances. Students will delve into critical aspects such as sustaining combat readiness and swiftly identifying potential future threats. - Core skills check and polishing
- Targets in-depth, targets in width, targets in depth and width
- Shooting on the move vs. moving to cover then engaging
- Dynamic shooting on the move as an individual
- Mutually supporting movement as part of a team
- Building firing positions that mitigate recoil and facilitate rapid/accurate engagement
- Security posture and considerations
- Navigate corners (left, right, “T” and “+”)
What are the class's gear requirements?
- Pistol and carbine of your choice. Make sure they are both in good, working condition and your carbine should already be zeroed.
- Plate carrier with three magazine pouches for your rifle, or a battle belt with at least two magazine pouches for your rifle.
- Outside the waistband holster.
- Gun belt or battle belt.
- Sling (Single or Double Point)
- At least 3 pistol magazines. (If you are shooting a 1911 platform bring extra magazines so you can shoot 30 rounds per relay.)
- At least 3 carbine magazines.
- Magazine pouches so you can carry at least 2 extra pistol and carbine magazines. (If you will be using a plate carrier with rifle magazine pouches, your gun or battle belt will not need rifle magazine pouches.)
- At least 250 rounds for your pistol and 1000 rounds for your carbine.
- Eye and ear protection.
- Comfortable shoes. Most of the day, we will be on our feet.
- Portable chair, sunscreen and a hat (Optional, but we will spend a lot of time outdoors.)
- Knee pads (Optional, but we will be shooting from kneeling positions.)
- Drinks and food.
What are the skill and age requirements to attend the class?
This is an intermediate class. Students must:
- Know how and be capable of safely operating both firearms (rifle and pistol)
- Know how to load, unload, and reduce stoppages of both firearms
- Possess confidence with shooting on the move
- Perform rifle-to-pistol transitions while on the move

Students must be at least 21 years old, or 18+ with a guardian, and due to the Department of State ITAR regulations, tactical training is only available to US Citizens/Legal Residents.
What is your cancellation policy?
- Full refund: 61 or more days from the class
- Partial refund (50%): Between 31 and 60 days from the class
- No refund: Within 30 days of the class
- Credits are not provided for missed classes
