Relevant Feedback
Dorr was larger than life, personality and physically. He is quite a tall person. But also definitely humble as the salt of the earth. His antics and quips sprinkled throughout the training along with real combat experience examples makes the class that much better. He says he has a superpower - the ability to remember the process from when he doesn’t know how to do any of this and being able to translate it piece by piece so that a layman can digest the information easier. The vast knowledge will always be there to ask if you need to but he can help solve your personal issues immediately due to being an instructor for so long. My particular group picked up the lessons fast enough where he gave us a bit of some Tact Pistol Carbine 2 lessons. Hard to find anyone, let along this legit, especially in CA.
Great class, even better instructor! Dor gave great feedback, pushed me to my failure points and brought me back to where I need to be to get the most out of my practice time. All while having fun and keeping the class very safe. I would encourage anyone whoever thought about any form of training to take this class. Only thing I’d like to change would be to have the class over a longer period… maybe over the course of a week vs. a weekend. Lots of material covered, having a longer class would allow (me at least) to have better retention of the topics/drills covered. Thanks Tactical Hive, looking forward to the next class!
Dorr was a great instructor who gave professional feedback and critique as needed. Enjoyed the methodical process and fundamentals stressed in this class.
