A Talk In The Woods: Barnyard Babblers (12-24 months old)
Join us for a gentle, play-based communication group designed for emerging talkers ages 12–24 months, led by licensed Speech-Language Pathologist, Kristi Bianchini.
Set in our outdoor play space, this group blends nature, movement, and meaningful interaction to support your child’s early communication skills in a relaxed, engaging environment. Through play, sensory exploration, and farm-inspired activities, little ones will be encouraged to:
• Build early sounds, gestures, and first words
• Strengthen connection and back-and-forth interaction
• Develop understanding of language through real-life experiences
• Grow confidence in communicating wants and needs
Each session incorporates elements of our farm and nature setting while caregivers learn simple, effective strategies to support communication at home. This is not a sit still class and children are free to move, explore, and engage at their own pace while being gently supported and guided.
Perfect for toddlers who are:
• Using few or no words yet
• Working on imitating sounds or gestures
• Needing a little extra support with communication
Cost is $30 per child. Caregiver participation required. Families will be asked to complete a brief intake form about their child so each session can be thoughtfully tailored to best support individual communication needs.
