The Kinship Support Program, in partnership with the Cambridge Food Bank and Porchlight, is a welcoming space for grandparents and kin caring for children and youth. Each month, participants can connect with others who share similar experiences, access resources, and receive peer-to-peer support. The program also fosters relationship-building for the children and youth in your care.
Program Details:
- Share a Meal – Enjoy a community-style dinner
- Adult Support Session – Peer-to-peer discussion and guidance
- Children & Youth Fun – Engaging activities for kids
- Counselling – Access to professional support if needed
- Special Guests– Occasional presentations from experts or community leaders
This is a space to know you are not alone, build connections, and gain practical strategies for daily life. Kinship Support Program runs the third Tuesday of every month from September to June.
