Homeschool Pony Riders - Fall Workshop Series
Homeschool Riders!! Come ride horses! All riders will take home projects they helped make themselves. All riding support provided, no experience needed. This is a workshop series - all dates are part of it.
Riders learn to ride their horse or pony and engage in horse care, horsemanship and ranch chores. We connect through games, circle, and craft activities.
Our day is led by our instructors and certified Waldorf teachers.
Skills & Areas Explored:
Connect and build relationships with the animals and other riders
Build confidence in communicating with the horses & animals
Improve balance, stamina and focus through ground work, riding, chores & teamwork
Crafts led by our Waldorf teachers, enriching our time together and building on storytelling, creativity and dexterity.
FUN!
Our day is designed for ages 5-12. Riders age 3-5 are welcome with an adult accompanying them. Riders age 13-17 are also welcome, provided they are happy to collaborate with younger riders.
