A Lotte Horses

My kid loved the camp.

Specifically, he loved the animals and the (supervised) responsibility of taking care of them while enjoying the company of other kids and the camp instructors and jr. staff. Although this week was short (3 days) My kid came home very dusty, happy, and calm AND with several stories about what happened at camp (which animals he visited, which horse he rode, where they rode, etc.). In addition, he came home with hand crafted natural salves and ointments (that he is very proud of having made himself with the help of Lotte instructors).

The group is pretty diverse in terms of gender, ages, and ethnic groups.

My kids have done other equestrian camps around Ventura county, but Lotte appears to have more diverse and slightly larger size groups and larger and better schedule.

Needless to say, we are looking forward to doing Lotte again. We are even considering taking adult riding classes.

My son had a lovely time this past week learning horsemanship and sewing the week’s felt village craft . The staff are knowledgeable and kind. They work hard to create a welcoming environment for all learners at any skill level. Thank you, A Lotte Horses!

Zoli absolutely loved his week at horse camp…so much so that he wanted us to cancel the camp he’s signed up for next week to come back! Unfortunately there is a no refund policy…but all that is to say: Zoli will be back in the future <3 Thank you for sharing your expertise and lovely ranch with the children, we think it really made an impact.

My girls had the most incredible time at A Lotte Horses! From start to finish, the entire experience was seamless and truly memorable. They were welcoming, knowledgeable, and made sure we felt safe and comfortable throughout our ride. All the helpers are very nice and they were very attentive to each rider’s skill level and matched us with horses that were perfect for our abilities.

The horses were well-trained and appeared to be very well cared for, which made me feel confident and at ease. The scenery was absolutely breathtaking – riding through the serene mountain trails and the arenas was an acquaintance we will never forget.

Whether you’re a seasoned rider or a beginner, I highly recommend this place. The team offers a range of riding experiences, and their passion for horses and the outdoors shines through. Beyond greatful for this amazing opportunity, thank you Sushila for coordinating all this and making it possible.

Very patient instructors and I love they guide the kids to do all the work in preparing the horse and the education of the horses. We have been taking lessons for about 3 months and my daughter loves it and is always excited to attend.

We have been whole heartedly happy with our experience riding at A Lotte Horses. The teaching style is supportive and hands on, allowing our daughters to gain so much confidence and enthusiasm. The ranch itself is beautiful and so full of life. We can’t wait for our next session!

My grandson is taking lessons and he wants to be at the stable everyday. He is so excited about riding and caring for the big animals and the small ones. This is an invaluable experience for a child. They learn responsibility, empathy, self confidence all while gaining whole body control and muscle.
How many of us prefer to see less devices in the hands of our kids and grands? Check this out. I can’t recommend this more highly.

Once again I had a fabulous experience and one I will continue. Lotte has volumes of experience to share and we worked through a lot of issues and miscommunications I have had with my own horse while learning dressage as a senior. I am truly living my best life.

Amazing experience. The horses were so beautiful and sweet. Sushila and her daughter were just as sweet and patient. We got the full beginners experience from grooming to cleaning to riding.

It has been an amazing blessing to watch Lotte turn my young girl into a confident young woman. This jumping and dressage combo class has given her lots of opportunities to jump and practice a good balanced seat. My daughter always gives A Lotte Horses 5-stars and two thumbs up.

A Lotte Horses is a fabulous riding school. The instructor is amazing. She supports the riders in such a way that they are confident to ride and jump the best lesson horses ever.
