CE: General Update (evening, livestream)

Course Facilitation Method:
- Live, online via Zoom
- A link to the virtual classroom and course materials will be emailed to enrolled students the day before the course begins.
- Distractive multitasking, including driving a vehicle, while connected to the virtual classroom will not be permitted. Participants will need to be visible and engaged during the course instruction hours. Please plan accordingly.
Schedule:
- This course will meet live, online, June 9, 2026, 6:00pm - 10:00pm, for a total of 4 hours.
- Breaks are provided each hour.
- Please be prepared to present your NC real estate license pocket card paper or digital copy, on camera upon check-in.
Attendance:
- Per NCREC rule, participants must attend at least 90% of this 4-hour course in order to receive course completion credit.
- Students missing more than 24 minutes (10% of total class time) are ineligible for course completion credit and should reschedule.
- Time missed cannot be made up.
- Note: Participants should NOT have a BIC or BIC Eligible license status when attending this course. Review your license record at www.ncrec.gov if you are unsure of your license status.
Cancellation:
- Refunds are not issued when cancelling your enrollment for CE courses.
- Students may transfer their enrollment to a future course if they need to reschedule. Any difference in the tuition fee may be owed.
- Go School reserves the right to cancel an upcoming course due to instructor availability or low enrollment. In such cases a full refund is issued to the student or the student may transfer their enrollment to a future course.
Note:
- Upon completing this course, we will email you a Certificate of Completion. Go School will report the course completion to the NCREC within 7 days. You do not need to take any action to report the completion to the NCREC but it’s always a good idea to confirm your educational record has been updated by logging in as a licensee to the NCREC website.
Course description:
- The 2025-2026 General Update (GENUP) Course is a four (4) hour* course that must be completed by all provisional and non-provisional brokers who are not brokers-in-charge and/or do not have BIC-Eligible status and who wish to renew their licenses on active status on July 1, 2026, for the 2026-2027 license year. Refer to Commission Rules 58A .1702 and 58A .1703 for a full explanation of brokers’ annual continuing education requirements and continuing education required for license activation.The

Please note the following important CE guidelines:
Licensees must complete eight (8) hours per year of continuing education (CE) in order to renew your license on active status as of July 1, 2026. Four (4) of the required CE credit hours must be obtained by completing the Mandatory Update course (GENUP), or, for licensees with BIC or BIC eligible status per the NCREC, the BIC Annual Review (BICAR/BICUP). The Update courses are only offered live, online or in-person. The remaining four (4) CE credit hours may be obtained by taking an elective topic course in the classroom or online. Do not complete the same elective credit course two years in a row. All CE courses provided by Go School are approved by the NCREC.
