Façades to Frames: Napier in Art

Over Art Deco Weekend 2026 (and our biggest tourism month) we are offering you the opportunity to participate in this Art Deco architecture themed open invitational exhibition!

This two-week exhibition is timed to coincide with the "Summer 2026 Art Deco Festival".

Your submitted work will:

1. Reflect and represent Napier and our Art Deco heritage - all artwork to have an architectural theme (this can be abstract or literal)
2. Be no larger than A2 (entries over this size must be approved by CAN first)
3. Be a recent work - or created for this exhibition.
4. Be for sale. (Note: CAN takes 30% commission of all sales)
5. Preferably not have been exhibited previously at CAN.

Submissions close: Sunday 1st February 2026

• Delivery to gallery: Wednesday 18 February 2026
• Public Opening night: Friday 20 February 2026, 5 - 7pm
• Where: Creative Arts Napier Main Gallery, 16 Byron Street Napier
• Price per entry: $25
• One entry per artist
