This 8-week introductory course is designed for absolute beginners of all fitness levels and backgrounds. You’ll learn the foundations of ballet in an encouraging environment — one designed for adult learners.

What You’ll Learn: Ballet Fundamentals

Fundamentals: Posture & Turnout
Learn proper alignment, activate the right muscles, and begin developing the basics for building up your ballet technique.

Barre Work
Explore the essentials: demi-plié, rises, tendu, tendu jeté, rond de jambe, retiré, fondu, grand battement, arabesque, and more. Learn more about the ballet barre here.

Centre Work
Waltzes, basic jumps and coordinated movements across the floor like gallops, chassés and triplets.
