Level 1: Certified Instructor Evaluation

This is a private class for instructor candidates who have passed our Level 1 online course and are ready to take their in-person evaluation.

Frequently Asked Questions

What will be covered?

As discussed in our online program, we will be providing additional instruction and evaluating your shooting and teaching performance.

You must pass all exercises and meet the 8 specific marksmanship standards shared with you in the online program.

What are the class's gear requirements?

  • Pistol of your choice with a common caliber, such as 9mm. (No race guns, no compensators or ported barrels, no external flared magwells. If you have a compensator or ported barrel, please contact us for adjusted par time standards.)
  • Proper on belt holster (IWB or OWB) and pistol mag pouches.
  • At least 3 magazines.
  • At least 400 rounds of ammo per firearm.
  • Eye and ear protection.
  • Comfortable shoes. Most of the day, we will be on our feet.
  • Chair/stool.
  • Sunscreen and a hat (Optional, but we will spend a lot of time in the sun.)
  • Drinks and food.

What is your cancellation policy?

  • Full refund: 61 or more days from the class
  • Partial (50%) refund: Between 31 and 60 days from the class
  • No refund: Within 30 days of the class

Please note, if you attend the evaluation you signed up for, you will receive a full $200 refund.

I have an extensive instructor background, and this class was eye-opening and like nothing I have experienced to obtain a certification. Although I did not achieve my goal of passing, the feedback from Myles, Tyler and Chad was invaluable to ensure I do succeed next attempt. They took alot of time helping all the candidates understand what they had to work on. I appreciate that this company dose not accept less than mastery of the product before certifying someone instruct for them.
