Threadventures: Survive The Apocalypse
Get ready for a week of creativity, problem-solving, and hands-on sewing skills at Threadventures, our preteen summer camp where campers learn how to stitch their way through the apocalypse. Through fun, survival-themed projects, campers will build confidence at the sewing machine while learning practical skills they can use in everyday life.
This camp is designed for young confident beginner sewists who have little to some prior sewing experience and are ready to build on their skills in a creative, supportive environment.
Throughout the week, campers will explore essential sewing techniques while creating their own survival-inspired gear, including:
Survivor’s Mending Kit
Sewing on Utility Patches
Foraging Pouch
No-Power Drawstring Backpack
Protective Hood or Face Cover
Darning and repair skills
This camp is perfect for curious, creative kids who love learning by doing and enjoy imaginative themes.
