Upcoming
Pollinator Parade Workshop - Summer I
Fri, Jul 10, 2026, 6:00 – 8:00 PM EDT
Children's Garden
AGES: 6-13
Kids create wearable wings, antenna headbands, or simple capes and learn about bees, butterflies, bats, and other animals that help pollinate Indigenous and heritage crops. With artist Devan Horton, participants experiment with natural pigments from plants to dye small pieces of fabric, connecting color to the flowers and foods pollinators rely on, then end with a short “parade” around the garden.
Culture Crops Activity: Informal pollinator observation walk, looking for local insects and discussing how to support them with plant choices.
When: Second Friday, July 10th from 6-8 PM
Location: Children's Garden
Min: 4 / Max: 8
