A Day in Clay - Make Your Own Altar | Day Retreat
Due to demand A Day in Clay: Make Your Own Altar is back on Sunday 19th of April for a nourishing day retreat at Ramsgate Pottery.
This special hands-on workshop is a chance to slow down, get creative, and connect with yourself through the grounding practice of working with clay. You’ll design and make your own unique altar.
Our wonderful teachers, Gillian Farrell and Vivienne Yankah, are both talented ceramicists and experienced guides, here to support you every step of the way. Nourishment comes from the kitchen, with Eleanor Yankah, our retreat chef with an Ayurvedic background, preparing vibrant, seasonal food to fuel your creativity.
The day takes place in a home & garden studio in Ramsgate - the perfect setting to relax, explore, and create.This workshop is open to all, whether you’re completely new to clay or already love working with it. My second time at the Day in Clay (that says it all really) and this time I brought a friend with me who came all the way from London!! The warm and friendly space created by Gillian, Viv and Ellie means that I’ve always thoroughly enjoyed the experience, being able to make the altars, learning something new, meeting lovely people and at the same time enjoying Ellie’s yummy food and vegan cakes! Thank you team DIC! This is a brilliant day out whether on your own or with friends.
Such a lovely day, time to plan and create with delicious lunch and sweet treats. Would definitely recommend and book again.
