Great venue, excellent day course. A wonderful friendly day with very good tuition, materials and hospitality. Excellent day and good value.
The class is always the highlight of our week. Relaxed atmosphere, with excellent teaching. Have really progressed over the course, guided by Gillian who teaches in a relaxed way helping you to develop your skills whilst developing your own style. We have covered different techniques, using the wheel, slab building, coiling, sculpture, all using different and types of clay and glazes…and you get a cup of tea and a biscuit!
A fantastic experience,I felt equally supported and able to do my own thing ,Gillian was incredibly helpful at every step , friendly small groups ,highly recommend this to any one !
Wonderful relaxed environment to learn pottery. Great fun.
I really enjoyed this class and got a lot out of it. Learnt how to work the clay and what skills are required for successful throwing. I trimmed and learnt how to put a foot on my pot and finally glazing techniques. Would recommend to anyone wanting to try their hand at pottery as an introduction and taster.
Such a lovely day, beautiful venue, really great people. I left on a high and will definitely be going again! Cannot recommend enough!!!
First time ever using clay and I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Gillian and Viv were so patient and knowledgeable. Plenty of clay and materials for everyone and the food was beautiful. Cannot wait to try it again

I really enjoyed A Day in Clay, both Viv and Gill were so knowledgeable and helpful throughout the whole process. The food by Ellie was absolutely delicious, it was lovely to spend time with some really great people creating our own individual altars. Really looking forward to how they all turn out and I would highly recommend anyone interested in trying this to sign up
