Another great follow up course, I set myself some pieces to make and had great and expert guidance from Viv and Gillian, who are so encouraging. I feel like I’m good at something and I’m really enjoying the learning, and more than that the friendships that we have developed. Well, we have come together for our love of pottery so of course there is friendship! Excited to be getting another 6 weeks in before the end of the year!
Our little group booked another 6 week course, allowing us to continue on our discovery of styles and methods of working with clay and the wonderful world of glazes!
Really great follow on class. Viv and Gillian have been really accommodating with choice of class time so the group could stay together.
Clay -day was such a well organised, relaxed, friendly , fun day. The food was absolutely amazing. And you do create and produce something to be proud of . Highly recommend . Would also make a fantastic present .

Gillian encourages everyone in the group to develop their own ideas. She offers encouragement, demonstrates techniques and makes suggestions which help to inform choices. I’ve really enjoyed the 6 weeks and have learnt a lot. I hope to continue. Thank you.
The pottery class was lovely and friendly. Gillian is a great teacher, she made it fun and enjoyable. I will be signing up again for the next one.
Gillian is very patient and knowledgeable and it was a calm friendly atmosphere to learn and not be afraid of trying.
Excellent, I loved exploring different pottery techniques with such an experienced and delightful teacher.
Something I’ve always wanted to try and this was a birthday treat from a friend. So with another pal, us three old guys thought we’d have a go. Gillian was friendly, welcoming and patient with us, we all loved it and had a great time. Now can’t wait to see the end result when they are fired.

Had an absolutely amazing time.
This was absolutely brilliant - just what I was hoping for and more. In a realtively short space of time, we covered the basics of throwing and were actually able to produce some quite nice pieces! Space is lovely and bright, teaching friendly, informed, encouraging and patient. Would definitely recommend this class to anyone who has always wanted to have a go at throwing, but never had the chance, as it’s an ideal introduction. Well worth it, and I will be looking to attend more classes in the future. Thank you!
