True Story: Memoir Re-imagined is a supportive, strength-based writing circle for those who feel called to write their lives—but don’t want pressure, homework, or performance anxiety. Instead of forcing your story into a rigid structure or racing toward a finished product, we focus on process: guided writing, gentle embodiment practices, mythic exploration, and compassionate community. Together we explore ancestry, identity, turning points, archetypes, and the patterns that shape us—allowing the structure of your memoir to emerge organically and in its own time.

This course is for anyone who wants structure without stress and depth without critique. No publishing plan or prior writing confidence required—only curiosity and willingness. You may leave with an outline, a body of fresh writing, and perhaps even a first draft—but more importantly, you’ll leave with a stronger relationship to your voice and a sustainable writing practice that cares for you rather than depletes you.
