Real estate professionals operate at the intersection of law, ethics, and public trust. Delivering an Equal, Ethical, & Exceptional Experience for All is a comprehensive 4-hour elective course designed to help brokers navigate today’s fair housing expectations while strengthening ethical decision-making in daily practice.
This course moves beyond memorizing protected classes. It connects the historical foundations of housing discrimination to modern-day risk areas, including marketing language, steering, buyer love letters, pocket listings, AI-enhanced advertising, appraisal bias, and social media conduct.

- Structural barriers that shaped housing inequality, including redlining and restrictive covenants
- Federal, state, and local fair housing laws, including NC-specific protections
- Disability accommodations, assistance animals, and common compliance misunderstandings
- Real-world examples of unintentional fair housing violations
- Emerging risk areas such as private networks, buyer love letters, and appraisal bias
- Key Articles of the REALTOR® Code of Ethics, including Articles 2, 3, 10, 12, and 15
- The structure, enforcement, and disciplinary process of the Code
- Best practices for advertising, cooperation, disclosure, and professional conduct
Through scenario analysis, case interpretations, and interactive exercises, brokers will leave with practical strategies to reduce liability, increase consistency, and deliver a higher standard of service.
