Lockeland Choir Club

Hello, and welcome to Lockeland Elementary Singing Club sign-up! This club is for singers in 3rd, 4th, and 5th Grades to dive into the fun of harmony singing. Repertoire will include a mix of music from past and present, and near and far. Singing Club will emphasize joyful community-building alongside age-appropriate exploration of music theory, and all the satisfaction of making a big sound, together! We will meet weekly on Wednesdays at 3pm in the Lockeland Elementary music classroom.

This Club is led by Hannah Levy, an educator, performer and recording artist with years of experience leading community-based singing, camps, choirs, and private instruction for all ages. Hannah grew up in a singing community in Western Massachusetts and has gone on to tour the world with choirs, vocal trios, and bands. She has a degree in jazz vocal performance, and refers to the principles of Somatic Voicework (tm) and the Kodaly Method in her teaching. Hannah aims to create exciting, welcoming, and ever-expansive spaces to study, play, and celebrate music. She is grateful to be returning to Lockeland this Fall!

In case of more than one weather-related cancellation, we will schedule a make-up session in November.
