Emotional Intelligence Instructor Development Course

Emotional Intelligence Instructor Development Course

This two-day course is designed for experienced firearms instructors to learn and develop applied emotional intelligence skills.

The firearms training community works with people who come from extensive array of life experiences. Being able to connect with people on an emotional level helps our students engage in the learning process.

This class is designed to equip you with applied emotional intelligence skills, using the Genos model, to improve coaching effectiveness, safety, and student outcomes. You’ll learn emotional intelligence in observable, trainable behaviors that you can apply in the classroom and on the line. You’ll have the tools you need to read students, regulate pressure, give feedback that lands, and create a climate where learners progress faster with fewer safety lapses.
