Turn your favorite tees into a cozy, memory-filled quilt top!
Follow Guest Instructor, Mary Blackford, in just just sessions you’ll learn how to deconstruct shirts, stabilize graphic areas, cut uniform quilt blocks, sew the blocks and sashing into a finished quilt top, and apply an (optional) border.
Students should bring at least 12 graphic t-shirts that are ready for a transformation, and optionally their own cotton fabric for sashing and boarders.
Prerequisites: Intended for beginners who know how to use a basic sewing machine (wind/insert bobbin, sew straight seams, press fabric) and for intermediate/advanced stitchers who want a practical workflow.
