Turn your favorite tees into a cozy, memory-filled quilt top!
Follow Guest Instructor, Mary Blackford, in just sessions you’ll learn how to deconstruct shirts, stabilize graphic areas, cut uniform quilt blocks, sew the blocks and sashing into a finished quilt top, and apply an (optional) border.
Students should bring at least 12 graphic t-shirts that are ready for a transformation, and optionally their own cotton fabric for sashing and borders.
Prerequisites: Intended for beginners who know how to use a basic sewing machine (wind/insert bobbin, sew straight seams, press fabric) and for intermediate/advanced stitchers who want a practical workflow.
