NEW: this class will now be held the 1st & 3rd Mondays of the month from 6-8 PM

The Gritty Canvas is a nonprofit organization that organizes FREE therapeutic community art groups by local cancer survivors for local cancer patients, survivors, and caregivers. Participants are encouraged to express themselves using various artistic media, starting with watercolor techniques. The class is taught by engaging instructors who have been through treatment and understand the unique challenges faced by those affected by cancer, creating a profound impact on both the creators and those who view their work.

All supplies provided.

The Gritty Canvas program at the Oxford Community Arts Center is made possible by generous grants from the Community Fund & the Ernst J. Bever Fund of the Greater Oxford Community Foundation and the McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital Foundation.
