The Obeya Fundamentals certification gives you the knowledge and hands-on experience to understand, set up and work with an Obeya. You learn how to connect strategy to execution, make the information that matters visible, and create the conditions for faster and better decisions.

What happens in the class

One day covering what an Obeya is and where it came from, why organisations need one, the 11 Obeya Principles grouped into the four quadrants of Mindset, Alignment, Workspace and Content, the room itself, the Builder and Host roles, meeting routines and performance dialogue, and how to start without stalling. You apply the Obeya Focus Scan to your own situation.

What it costs after the course

Nothing in year one. €75 per year after that, if you choose to continue.

Passing the Fundamentals exam includes one year of Obeya Association membership. Renewal is €75 per year, billed by the Obeya Association, and it is optional unless you plan to progress. Membership is a hard requirement for the Obeya Builder and Obeya Host classes, so if Builder or Host is on your horizon, keep it active.

Your Fundamentals certificate itself does not expire.
