Youth Adventure Lab: Get Ready! Set! Compost!
Suitable Ages 10 - 17
Think like an eco-engineer! Youth will learn how to reduce waste and compost through fun challenges and sorting relay races. Participants will learn how food waste can be transformed into healthy soil that supports gardens and food production. 
 
Youth participants will need to be signed in and out of the program with a photo ID. 
 
As programming takes place outdoors, staff will closely monitor weather conditions leading to the program. If staff determines an inclement weather event, you will be notified by 8 AM regarding the program relocation to the Cambridge Food Bank at 54 Ainslie St. 
 
Light snacks will be provided. Please bring: 
-Sunscreen 
-Bug spray 
-Closed-toe shoes 
-Water 
-and any extra snack participants need 
 
Activities:  
-Sorting relay race 
-Compost engineer challenge
