Rifle Performance Workshop (Alpine, CA)
What is the Rifle Performance Workshop?
Most shooters don't need more information. They need better practice.
The problem isn't a lack of drills. The problem is that most shooters don't know which skills to prioritize, how to measure performance, or what's actually holding them back.
They show up to the range, burn through ammo, run a few drills, and leave feeling productive. But without objective standards, structured coaching, and deliberate practice, improvement often becomes a matter of guesswork.
The Rifle Performance Workshop is a two-day performance development course designed to bridge the gap between learning and performing.
Built on the same diagnostic principles used in our Cheat Codes of Shooting® program, this workshop focuses on applying, measuring, and refining the skills that matter most. Rather than spending two days introducing new concepts, we focus on helping students develop performance through purposeful practice, objective standards, and individualized coaching.
Each training block begins with a discussion of a specific performance topic, followed by targeted drills designed to isolate and develop that skill. Students rotate through multiple training stations where they are challenged against objective standards, coached by instructors, and required to perform under time pressure.
Throughout the weekend, instructors closely monitor performance, identify inefficiencies, and provide immediate feedback to help students overcome plateaus and improve more quickly.
Topics may include:
- Recoil management
- Positional shooting
- Barricade work
- Movement
- Target transitions
- Multiple target engagements
- Speed versus precision
- Time management
- Visual processing
- Decision-making under pressure
Training culminates in increasingly complex courses of fire that require students to combine multiple skill sets while balancing speed, accuracy, efficiency, and accountability.
This is not a lecture-heavy course. This is not a weekend of casually running drills.
Every repetition has a purpose. Every drill has a standard. Every skill is measured.
The methods used in this workshop are the product of years spent on the range testing ideas, evaluating performance, refining techniques, and identifying the factors that produce measurable improvement. Drawing inspiration from the performance-focused training methodologies used by our nation's elite military units, we've spent countless hours validating, refining, and simplifying those concepts through our own experimentation and experience. We've already done the hard work—countless repetitions, successes, failures, and refinement—so you can focus on what actually matters.
If you're looking for a course that will challenge you, expose weaknesses, provide measurable feedback, and help you develop a clear path for improvement, the Rifle Performance Workshop was built for you.
