A private day aboard Marrakesh to assess skills, assist in identifying systems and procedures to aid in confidence and getting the boat out more regularly.

Here's what I suggest for our day's plan. Annalise and I will meet you at Capital City Yacht Club, and together, we'll
  • Discuss what our sailing day looks, and our destinations
  • Review safety equipment and procedures
  • Set up the boat for the day
We'll focus on our time on sailing, and together we'll look at:
  • Helm control, setting course and maintaining situational awareness
  • Practicing sail trim, points of sail
  • Reviewing safety procedures like heaving to, reducing sail, and Crew Overboard
  • Essential navigational skills
As you gain confidence, we'll gradually increase the challenge.
