Learn about why poets continue to use the Fall season as symbol, metaphor, motif, and inspiration for poetry. We’ll read some Fall poems by famous poets, discuss how they use the season in their work and discover what Autumn means to you! Students will begin drafting a poem, and then incorporating that poem into a collage of pressed Autumn leaves. Take home a handwritten poem and physical memento of fall before the season finally gives way to winter.
