The Handgun Master 2027 Training Group
Limited enrollment is now open. This is a selective, 10 month-long program designed for serious concealed carriers who are ready to move beyond occasional classes and build true, reliable competence.
What This Is
The Handgun Master Training Group is a structured, progressive program that develops participants into professional-level, efficient, safe, and highly competent concealed carriers. Through consistent monthly instruction, plus self-guided practice between sessions, you will advance and solidify your skills to a near-autonomous standard. Each month, you will discover what you need to work on for your development.
Instruction is led primarily by Dave Jenkins and Matthew Underwood, with select guest instructors based on topic and need.
Who It’s For
Participants are hand-selected. The group is capped at 20 to preserve high-quality coaching, meaningful feedback, and real team dynamics. This is not an open enrollment course for absolute beginners. It is designed for carriers who already have a solid foundation and want deliberate, measurable advancement.
You will train once a month as both an individual and a team. Training days are fixed and guaranteed (barring major events or severe weather). If needed, we will attempt to schedule makeup or double sessions to keep the group on track.
What You Gain
You will train alongside a small group of committed, like-minded shooters. The combination of structured progression, peer feedback, and friendly competitive pressure produces results that standalone courses simply cannot match. Camaraderie, accountability, and shared standards accelerate growth in ways that isolated practice never does.
Curriculum
The program begins with a formal skill evaluation and baseline session. Every subsequent month builds directly on the last.
Topics include (but are not limited to):
- Foundational skills and progression methodology
- Advanced CCW skills
- One-handed shooting
- Close up shooting skills
- Retention and disarm drills
- Unconventional shooting positions
- Speed vs. precision
- Dynamic movement skills
- Stress drills and cognitive shooting drills
- And additional high-value topics as the group’s needs dictate
The final session is a comprehensive evaluation against the standards established throughout the year, combined with a competition against both the group and your own baseline.
By the end of the program you will have:
- A proven training regimen
- Measurable skill progression
- Performance validated against high-end industry standards.
You will be pushed and tested for the entire program.
