About This Level

For Returning Students

Congratulations! This is the same group as last year—formerly Marel's Beginner 2 class—and you've move up!.
Welcome to your new
Progressive Level! At the same time, Mariaa's former Progressive class has advanced and is now our Intermediate Foundations level.

For New Students

This level is designed for students with approximately three plus years of ballet training, typically attending class once or twice a week (or with equivalent experience).
Each 90-minute class includes a full barre and centre practice.

The curriculum focuses on strengthening and refining technique while gradually introducing more complex combinations. New steps, as well as variations of familiar ones, are taught at a comfortable pace so everyone can continue progressing together. For a detailed overview of our ballet levels, please refer to the Level Chart at the end of this page.

Some of the centre work covered at this level includes adage, across-the-floor combinations, épaulement, petit allegro (assemblé, jeté, échappé, glissade), pas de valse, and ballet runs .Marel often work on the same routines over several weeks and repeat similar exercises. This reduces the time spent memorizing choreography and allows students to develop stronger technique, confidence, and muscle memory through consistent repetition.

💸 Joining Late, Attendance, Prorated Fees & Discounts

We understand that adult schedules can be unpredictable. If you know in advance that you'll miss two or more classesduring a course (for example, due to work travel or vacation), you may request a prorated fee. • If you miss a class, you're welcome to make it up by attending another class (or a suitable alternative), free of charge.
  • 20% discount is available when registering for two or more weekly courses, including any combination of flamenco and ballet. The discount is applied to the second or lower-priced course.
  • We also offer additional multi-course discounts (20–35%) and a student discount.

As a small school, we do our best to support adult learners while encouraging the consistency that helps students progress. Discount codes are applied internally or provided upon request—just contact us!
