Sewing: Sew Rectangle Top
AGES: 18+
We’ll learn some of the basics of clothing construction with the trending Rectangle Top designed by Sara Kim of Sewing Therapy. This beautiful, versatile, beginner pattern is a great way to start or return to sewing clothing. Each student will make a practice “toile” in muslin to adjust the fit, and then sew a final piece in the fabric of their choice.
Students may choose which pattern variation they would like to make. Students must purchase the pattern in advance and come to the first class with the printed pattern and instructions. This is a PDF download pattern (the newest and now most commonly available method to buy sewing patterns). Look for an email from the instructor for more information about how to do this. It’s not as scary as it sounds!
