Sewing: Hem, Mend & Alter - Fall I

AGES: 18+

By popular request, this class is focused on how to properly hem and repair your favorite clothing. In the first two weeks, we will cover a variety of methods to hem different weights of fabric on straight and curved edges. In weeks 3-6, students are encouraged to bring items of clothing that need repair or alteration and learn how to do it themselves. This may include hemming, mending, zipper repair, and general fit adjustments.

When: Tuesdays, 6:30 - 8 PM
Location:
Tower Room, 3rd Floor
