Gold - Wairarapa (Featherston)
Ideal for experienced riders looking to hone specific technical aspects of riding and riding styles. Groups can determine their own course content for the day.
What you’ll get out of it
The flexibility of the Gold course means the outcomes will relate to your needs. Typical areas of focus include riding in groups, riding with a pillion, counter steering and advanced cornering.
On the day
The day begins with a briefing and safety check then moves onto a mix of urban and rural roads. Some roads will be more challenging with higher speed sections. Practicing skills may take place off-highway with several stops for assessment, including a lunch break.
Ensure you wear protective motorcycle clothing, top to toe, and money to buy lunch. Also make sure your machine is warranted, registered and roadworthy and arrive with a full tank of fuel.
Please remove any communication device on your helmet as one will be supplied. If you have a comfy pair of in-ear headphones with a standard 3.5mm jack (mobile phone size), then do bring them along.
Relevant Feedback
Great day. Good coach. Good group. Highly recommended
Well constructed and delivered course. Phil had a great manner and did a great job adapting the plan for the day as we went along. I enjoyed listening to the others on the course and learned a few things which I found myself applying on the ride home. I would highly recommend Phil/Rightway and the gold course to anyone who wants to have a great day out and brush up on their skills.
Excellent course content, great refresh of knowledge. Well presented, overall an excellent and engaging day.
Advanced riders in the group and Philip was able tailor specific feedback and reinforce good skills with gentle suggestions for improvement - look forward to next one
