This course will teach Chief RSO candidates how to train & supervise NRA Range Safety Officers & how to develop Range SOPs.  Once completed & you register with NRA you will be recognized as an NRA Certified Chief Range Safety Officer & be able to conduct your own NRA Basic Range Safety Officer Courses & train RSO candidates. Prerequisites: Candidates must be Certified (current) RSOs or take NRA Basic RSO course day before.  This a 14-hour instructor-level program. Day 1-6hrs. Basic Instructor Training (BIT) and Day 2-8hrs CRSO Instructor Training. Core Topics Covered -Training and supervising RSOs; Developing range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs); Conducting range inspections and rule enforcement; Delivering effective range safety briefings; Managing range emergency procedures; and Handling firearm stoppages and malfunctions.
