6 week mixed ability pottery class Tuesday 6:30-8:30pm
In this 6 week class, we will cover more techniques e.g. coil building, further practice throwing on the potter’s wheel, and developing decorating/glazing your fired work. You can bring your own project ideas and you will have lots of one-to-one support for what you wish to make. The price is £180 for 6 lessons with a fee for firing and glazing. This includes a cuppa/biccy!
Wear old clothes, bring an apron, keep nails short, and tie hair back!

The class is always the highlight of our week. Relaxed atmosphere, with excellent teaching. Have really progressed over the course, guided by Gillian who teaches in a relaxed way helping you to develop your skills whilst developing your own style. We have covered different techniques, using the wheel, slab building, coiling, sculpture, all using different and types of clay and glazes…and you get a cup of tea and a biscuit!

Viv’s approach is truly wonderful. She is not only a great teacher and a phenomenal artist, but also a beautiful soul whose calm energy creates a welcoming space filled with curiosity and empathy.
Gillian’s studio is very cosy, and in the summer it’s especially joyful to be surrounded by greenery and beautiful natural light.
