Was a well instructed, very knowledgeable instructor with actual experience. Have been numerous times for first aid and learnt new techniques.

Cate was absolutely FANTASTIC, I even inquired if she taught anymore training or courses, just so I could learn more from her. I’ve taken two first aid courses prior to this, and without a doubt this one was the most informative, engaging and interesting one I have taken yet. Will absolutely be back to book my confined spaces and h2s through you guys. i feel confident in my skills and ability if they are needed one day. She taught us a lot of real world scenarios rather than flicking through a slide show and going “You got it?”, with things that most of us would rarely encounter. Being a woman in oilfield I also appreciated hearing her perspective based on her experience, specific situations that could arise, and how to deal with them quickly, with dignity and with a backbone. Was an all round great 2 days & i’m a bit sad its over!

Was really impressed with the instructor Cate Fox she’s a experienced hands on person that takesher job seriously and presented the coarse professionally really happy with the coarse

Erik was a great instructor for the H2S Alive course. He kept the class moving at a good pace and presented the material in a way that kept everyone engaged while still covering all of the required information thoroughly. I’ve sat through many safety courses over the years, and this was one of the few that never felt boring.

I also appreciated the location. Living in Leduc, it was nice not having to drive into Edmonton. The facility’s proximity to the airport is an added bonus, especially for people coming from smaller communities that don’t offer H2S Alive training locally. Overall, it was a very positive experience, and I would definitely recommend this course and instructor.

Cate was an amazing instructor for the practical and hands on teaching would most certainly recommend will come back here in 3 years when its time to do it again

GREAT TEACHING!

Class was engaging and discussions were welcome , however the content felt rushed through and not given enough time for details, some techniques were not brought up at all, and a lot of what was presented on the slides did not align with what the instructor said , some of it we were told it was wrong or to disregard it which would cause some confusion for someone who has not taken the course before , something to look into . also the chairs were excessively uncomfortable.

The instructor was great. The class moved along at a good pace. The intruction was clear and concise.

Awesome instructor who provided a wealth of combined field knowledge and course material to gain important knowledge on handling various first aid scenarios. It was a pleasure to be part of Catherine’s course. Many Thanks and would highly recommend LSS.

Good, overall. Michael was a good instructor, and did what he could with the fairly dry curriculum. The training props/equipment are showing their age in some areas. That poor mannequin is due for retirement, and I would have preferred one of the heavier rescue models that would better simulate dragging and manipulating a real person.

Great presenter, very informative. I wish we had used a heavier more to-life dummy for the dummy drags, but overall good experience.

Grant was an excellent instructor who taught the H2S Alive information in a clear, digestible manner. It was a pleasure attending his course. Would highly recommend.

Cate was great. She was concise and got the course done in a timely manner.

Best course I ever took, Cate was an outstanding instructor. What she does with the material by adding her own natural, teaching, talent, and adding her own life experience really adds to the teaching. I will be able to remember way more than this worse than I ever did the other courses I’ve taken because of that. Cate deserves a large raise and a cookie. 🍪 🥰
