We are beyond excited to kick off a brand new season with the Royal Lao Classical Dancers (RLCD)! Our journey began in 1996 with a simple yet powerful mission: to preserve and share our rich heritage through the art of dance. What started as a small group of extended family members has blossomed into a vibrant community of individuals who are united by a shared love of our culture and the art of Lao classical dance.

This spring season, we will be focusing heavily on celebrating Lao New Year, a time of joy, reflection, and cultural pride. As an organization, we take great pride not only in teaching the intricate techniques of TRADITIONAL LAO dance, but also in ensuring that every dancer understands the deep meaning and significance behind each movement.

We are thrilled to have you join us on this exciting journey! Our lessons are held on Sundays between 1-4 PM at Rock Springs Elementary School for students 5+, and our dedicated staff members volunteer their time and expertise to support you every step of the way. Registration fees go directly toward covering our rental facility costs, ensuring that we can continue providing a space to learn and grow.

Thank you for being a part of our RLCD family. We can’t wait to dance with you this season!

Warm regards,
The Royal Lao Classical Dancers Team

To ensure that all dancers are comfortable and can move freely, we ask that you adhere to the following dress code:
  • No jeans.
  • We suggest wearing a RLCD t-shirt and sihn or leggings.
  • Socks are highly encouraged for safety and comfort.
