Welcome to the HEU Language Training Registration

Registrations will be accepted between

Mon, Nov 24, 2025 at 6:00am PST and Wed, Dec 3, 2025 at 11:59pm PST

You must follow 3 steps to register for the class:

  1. You must take two placement tests: a listening test and a reading test.
  2. You will receive the results of your tests in an email within 36 hours. The email will tell you if you are eligible. If eligible, you will receive a code to register for the Intermediate class or the Advanced class.
  3. Register for the appropriate class (Intermediate or Advanced) using the code sent to you. You can choose the day class or evening class, or the online or hybrid(in-person and online) whichever best suits your schedule.

Please note: space in the class is limited to 30 students. Filling out the registration form does NOT automatically guarantee you a space in the class. Classes are filled by "first come, first served".

If you registered for the course, you will be notified by December 18 confirming your registration.

About the Course

The course runs for four months.

  • There are 4 modules covering topics such as: workplace culture, communication with co-workers and clients, workplace safety, advocating for yourself, emails, and more!
  • There will be assessments throughout the course to help you see your progress.

At the end of the course there will be the opportunity to take a Canadian Language Benchmark Placement Test (CLBPT) or International English Language Test (IELTS) . These tests are needed to apply for many training programs.
