Spring 2027 Columbia in Paris Course Registration

Please read before registering

Students MUST register for a total of 5 classes while on the Columbia in Paris program. Two of these classes will be fulfilled by mandatory language classes, Academic Writing and Practicum. Students must then register for 3 electives from the following options: Reid Hall courses, Directed Research, and local university courses.

• Language Classes: Students should anticipate being enrolled in both mandatory language classes, Academic Writing and Practicum. Language placement will be based on a placement exam taken on site and oral interviews during orientation week. Students who place out of Practicum will be asked to register for an additional elective.
• Directed Research: Students interested in pursuing a Directed Reseach project must submit a proposal by December 1. Please see instructions below for submitting your proposal.
• Local University Classes: Students should only select this option if they have previously been contacted by the Program Coordinator, Samantha Csenge.

Please note: Under enrolled courses may be subject to cancellation. In this case, students will be given the opportunity to enroll in another course.
